We live in Fradley and offer a small but professional, fun and caring home from home boarding service for your beloved dogs.
We are registered to have 4 dogs only, which includes our dogs, and therefore will are looking to have only have 1 or 2 dogs at a time, from the same household, who will stay with our sociable dogs and be loved as if they are our own.
Trust us to provide a safe and loving environment whilst you are away.
We will ensure the utmost care for your dog(s), they will be part of our family and we will treat them like our own puppy dogs during their stay.
We are
Julie & Ashley
We have Springers, Bella & Roxy, who are our babies! We can assure you that we will also treat your dog(s) the same way. Bella and Roxy have the run of the whole house at all times and they sleep wherever they want to, whether it is in their bed, on our bed, on the floor or on the sofa and your dog will be treated the same.
Bella is 12 yrs old and we rehomed her when she was 3, not knowing she was in pup. She had 6 lovely puppies of which we kept her first born. All the other puppies went to lovely homes which I am still in contact with. Bella is a diva, she knows exactly what she wants. She loves a fuss and gets excited at walk times, but also loves the quiet life, so she will be found upstairs in her bed or asking to go in the car, weather permitting!
Roxy, Bella's daughter, is 9 years old. Roxy is a sweetie, she can be timid with people to begin with but soon comes around and is very friendly with dogs. Roxy loves to help her dad in the garden, going for a walk and cuddles on the sofa. She just loves to be with us all the time, even in the bathroom.
Ashley and myself have both been brought up with animals. When Ashley was growing up he had a Red Setter & German Shepherd. I had rabbits, then a border collie (Becky). I also had a horse, Tango. We had a Boxer dog called Henry who I rehomed at 3 years old. He loved everyone and was as good as gold. We then had Jack, a Lab Cross, who we rehomed at approximately 6 months old and lost last year at the age of 17. He was the most loveable dog with people. He did have separation anxiety and a few issues and he loved to keep us on our toes.
We have always owned dogs as well as several other animals. We currently have 2 rabbits (Sooty & Sweep), 3 sheep (Emily, Izzie and Lilly) and a pygmy goat called Ellie. Emily the sheep, was very weak when she was born. So we took her home for 6 weeks so we could bottle feed her before taking her join the other animals we have. Jack, Bella & Roxy were stars with her.
Ashley worked with horses for over 15 years and in that time, he worked for the BHS as a Horse Welfare Officer, Riding School Inspector and a Riding Instructor. He now works in a different industry.
I have worked as a Mortgage Adviser, which has been a great job, but I have always wanted to be at home full-time with our wonderful dogs and look after people's dogs. When I got the opportunity to set this business up, I jumped at it. I will be your dogs main carer whilst you are away.
Our dogs go everywhere they can with us. If we go out for a meal we always go to dog friendly pubs so they can come too. Your dog(s) would come too, as long as you and they are comfortable with us doing this.
At our home we have a secure lawned garden and 2 secure gravel areas. One of which is covered with seating in. So on a lovely day I can sit outside with them where they will have shade and dog beds to rest in.
We also have access to a secure paddock area where our other animals are kept. Your puppy dog(s) can have a play and if it's a warm day or rains, we have a lovely caravan they can shelter in.
We are a kennel free home.
We are both fully qualified Dog First Aiders. DBS Checked, Full Public Liability Insurance and 4 Star higher standard council rating, Dog Home Boarding qualification.
What makes Happy-Dogs-Home-Boarding the perfect choice for your dog's stay?
We are dedicated to providing a loving, fun, safe and comfortable environment for your beloved dog(s).
Your dog(s) will have cuddles, fuss and playtime whenever they want.
Your dogs will be walked at least twice a day and we will never let them off the lead unless they are in a totally secure area.
We are a small home boarding business and we are looking to have one household's dog(s) at a time, who will stay with our lovely girls.
We are only taking 1 or 2 dogs at a time, so they will have our attention and personalised care at all times.
Our girls have the run of the whole house 24/7, but we will tailor your dog(s) stay to meet your dog(s) individual needs. We will follow their usual routine. We will let your dog(s) sleep where they want to, but if you do crate them at night we will do this, or if you do not want them going upstairs, or on sofa, we will ensure they don't.
We want them to have the same experience as they do at their home.
